A Professional Material Engagement Laboratory
What if thinking does not happen only in the brain?
This professional laboratory explores how perception, thinking, judgement and change emerge through active engagement with matter.
We will work with simple, often everyday materials — clay or dough, wire, fabric, branches, string, paper, stones and found objects.
Rather than using materials simply to represent thoughts or emotions, we investigate what happens when making itself becomes a way of thinking.
We are not using materials to illustrate thoughts.
We are using materials to think.
